Current position: Staff Research Engineer · Arm, Cambridge, UK.
Research interests: I work on Systems Architecture & Design, with a focus on memory disaggregation, consistency, coherence, RAS features, persistency, and virtual memory. I bring an ethos of holistic, end-to-end system design that’s driven by real-world applications - incorporating workload understanding / algorithm analysis.
Brief bio: I have pursued research across academia and industry; ranging from targeted, applied research to more open-ended, blue-sky investigations.
Currently, I am a member of the research group at Arm led by Eric Van Hensbergen.
I earned my PhD as an Arm fellow from The University of Edinburgh (2023), following a Master's (by research) from Indian Institute of Science (2017). My thesis explored computer architectures for Co-designing reliability and performance for datacenter memory.
I've previously worked as a Research Scientist at Intel (2017-19) and a Technology Analyst at Goldman Sachs (2012-14), contributing to projects ranging from high-performance systems research to large-scale datacenter infra engineering.
The journey has been a mix of building systems, thinking deeply about how hardware and software meet, and chasing performance across the stack—sometimes all at once!
Endurance sports hobbyist: Marathons, Hyrox, Triathlon, Trekking and more.
